Daily Makeup Routine

Today I am sharing my daily makeup routine!  It might seem a little on the glam side (because it is) but I can’t bring myself to leave out a step!  As you’ll be able to tell by this post, I’m a bit of a makeup junkie, but I justify this by trying to use it all… (hence a daily glam look) Oops, well you can never have too many lippies!

Some of my favorite products include Make up Forever’s HD powder to set the face, Too Faced Born this Way Foundation and Better than Sex mascara, the Urban Decay Naked Skin line, & one of my HOLY GRAILS my Smashbox primer!

This primer is great because it keeps your makeup in place all day & it doesn’t make you oily/greasy.  Urban Decay & Too Faced Cosmetics are the brands that I normally gravitate towards.  I love the pigmentation of their shadows, their concealers and foundations are full coverage and they provide great quality for a somewhat affordable price.  I would say Drugstore is affordable, you have your somewhat affordable brands like Benefit and Too Faced, and then your aspirational brands like Dior and YSL.

Sigma’s Mrs. Bunny Brush Set is to die for.  The brushes are vegan (cruelty free), they are great for blending, and they are just as soft as a bunny!

The first step is applying Smashbox’s Primer all over the skin to create a foundation for your makeup.

This is with the foundation applied.  As you can see my dark circles tend to peek out, which is why I go for a heavier concealer.

I then go in with either my Too Faced Chocolate powder foundation or my Makeup Forever HD setting powder.  It depends on the foundation I use as well as how much coverage I am going for that day.

Next I grab my Gwen Stefani Urban Decay palette (it differs every day) and I apply Stark all over the lid, Baby in my inner corner, Pop on the outer part and blend into the middle, and then finish with Punk in the crease.

This is the finished makeup look without a lip!
